⚔️ Mars in Scorpio Squaring Pluto in Aquarius

This week (end of Sept 2025), we’re experiencing a rare and potent astrological transit: Mars in Scorpio forming a square to Pluto in Aquarius.

This exact configuration hasn’t occurred since the last time Pluto was in Aquarius (roughly 1777–1798), as the world experienced seismic collective shifts:

• The American and French Revolutions

• Overthrow of monarchies and hierarchical power structures

• Radical questioning of identity, freedom, and who holds the power

Now, Pluto has just re-entered Aquarius again (2024–2043), and Mars, the planet of action, anger, willpower, and instinct, is squaring it from Scorpio, the sign of depth, control, and transformation.

This is power meeting pressure.
Personal will colliding with collective evolution.
Subconscious patterns clashing with future-aligned decisions.

What This Energy Feels Like

When Mars and Pluto square off, especially in fixed signs like Scorpio and Aquarius, you may feel:

• A desire to control outcomes or manipulate your way to safety

• Buried emotions surfacing, especially around anger, betrayal, or fear

• Tension with others where power dynamics are misaligned

• Obsessive focus on something you're trying to force, or avoid

• A push/pull between your desire for mastery (Mars in Scorpio) and your call to evolve (Pluto in Aquarius)

What This Transit Symbolizes Psychologically

This square is exposing the inner conflict between:

• The version of you who knows how to stay safe by staying the same

• And the version of you who’s being asked to become someone completely new

This is identity work, leadership work, and nervous system work.

And if you're not aware of it, you may feel like you're being pulled apart.

If you are aware of it, you can use it as a personal power portal, one that’s asking you to rise into the next level of clarity, action, and embodiment.

3 Ways to Use This Energy Wisely

1. Transmute, don’t project

Mars in Scorpio is high-voltage emotional energy. You may feel the urge to lash out, over-control, or spiral into all-or-nothing thinking.

Instead of projecting this energy onto people or situations, transmute it:

• Go for a run or workout

• Channel your intensity into a focused project

• Write down what you want to say, and read it back the next day

• Ask: Where do I feel powerless? And what would reclaiming power look like without force?

2. Audit your identity loops

This is RECODE energy. It's asking:

Are you leading from your future self, or protecting your past self?

Mars wants action. Pluto wants transformation. The square is a chance to do both, but only if you pause and recognize the identity patterns that are no longer serving you.

Ask:

• Where am I reacting from an old version of myself?

• What belief or behavior am I repeating that no longer aligns with who I’m becoming?

• What part of me is trying to control something out of fear?

Once you name the loop, you can rewrite the code.

3. Lead from your future identity

This transit wants long-term power, not just reactive dominance.

What would your future self do today?
What decision would they make?
What would they no longer tolerate?
What would they release, restructure, or renegotiate?

Lead from that version. Even if it’s uncomfortable, and especially if it’s unfamiliar.

That’s how you signal to your subconscious that you’re done with survival mode.
