LEO SEASON 101

Leo Season begins when the sun enters the sign of Leo, which is associated with pride, the heart and the ego. When the sun is in Leo, our consciousness is filtered through the lens of the Leo archetype, which is the gregarious leader who is bold, creative & self-expressive. So these are the very themes most relevant in the collective experience as it's essentially the weather in the field.

WHY THIS LEO SEASON IS DIFFERENT

This Leo Season we have Venus retrograde also in the sign of Leo. This is significant because although Venus, which the planet of beauty, finances, values & relationships, retrogrades every 18 months... she retrogrades in roughly (changing only by a few degrees) the same place every 8 years. Making it so the previous Venus retrogrades in Leo were 2015, 2007, 1999 and 1991. However, unlike those previous Leo Venus retrogrades, this one will be entirely in Leo; the others started in Virgo and shifted back into Leo.

So while Leo Season is typically about bold & creative self-expression, this particular Leo Season offers energies for healing ego wounds, creative blocks and relationships with self-confidence and being *seen* (something that a lot of my clients are dealing with right now).

HOW TO BEST UTILIZE THE ENERGY

As Leo is associated with identity, vitality and ego, and Venus is associated with values & relationships, this Leo Season is excellent for shadow work. Bringing awareness to ego wounds and issues with self confidence. While amplifying our ability to heal these parts of ourselves and integrate the shadows. To experience a new level of wholeness, depth and deep connection with our authentic expression and purpose.

• What type of support and attention do I desire?
• What blocks are preventing me from receiving, and where do they stem from?
• How can I better show up for myself & supply myself with the attention & support I desire from others?
